Clayton has finally started calling "Big Clayton" (my dad) something!!! He wants her to call him Big Clayton, but that's been a challenge! She was calling everyone else by his/her name at Christmas, but she would just go to him and pull on him when she wanted him! Right before we left after New Year's, she started attempting "Big Clayton" but it came out as "BiCatun" really fast and jumbled together! She saw them this weekend, and she immediately had his name down...she is calling him "Big Clayton" in her own little way..."Bi-ton" So now, we have morphed it into "Button" and we are all calling him that...which I think he actually loves deep down inside because Clayton started it!!!

An Amazing God Story...

Hello, my fellow blogger friends. I have such an amazing story to pass along. It is not my story, but it is the story of a friend of mine that I used to lead worship with at keystone. She and her husband have an AMAZING story about their adoption process. It is sooo exciting. Please go to Holly's blog and read her story (especially Saturday, Jan 10th and Sunday, Jan. 11th). Happy New Year! This pic was a little blurry, but it was the only one of Mark and me...so I had to put it in!!! I know 2009 is going to be amazing! I have read several friends' blogs that have put the things that they will be working on...some 1 major goal...others one character trait for each month...which I absolutely LOVE!! I am still in the process of trying to figure out exactly what that looks like for me...I know, I know...the New Year has already begun...but for me, it won't REALLY start until Monday when the real world and real routine comes in to action...I will know what I am doing by then! To everyone, I hope that 2009 holds a great amount of growth in your walk with the Lord and I know that HE will do immeasurably move that we could EVER ask or imagine in each of our lives!!!
