The weekend before Mother's Day, we went to Mamaw's house for a Mother's Day celebration since we would be out of town on Mother's Day weekend in Atlanta! We went over about 3:00 on Sunday afternoon so that we could cook dinner. We convinced Glenda to make Tequila Chicken that she used to always make. She hadn't made it in at least three years because she kept saying that she didn't have anything to cook the chicken in because her indoor grill thing wouldn't work anymore...or something like that! Mark and I had planned for a couple of months to get her a new grill/griddle for Mother's Day, so this was our sneaky plan to give it to her...AND get Tequila Chicken!
When we got there, Glenda was outside under the porch trying to start a little charcoal grill to grill the chicken...so we had to get her to open her present pretty fast!!!
